Just prepare your favourite meals as you would at home, add this to your Chilly’s Food Pot and it will maintain the temperature until you’re ready to enjoy it.
The 500ml pot will keep your food hot or cold for 6 hours and 300ml for 4 hours, perfect for soups, salads, fruit or hot porridge on a chilly morning commute.
For best results, we recommend pre-heating your Food Pot by filling it with hot water to warm up the inside lining. You can then empty it and add your food of choice. Please remember that some foods will hold heat more effectively than others.
How to care for your food pot
- DO NOT take your Food Pot on an aeroplane. Chilly's Food Pots are not suitable for low pressure environments, for example aircraft travel.
- Do not overfill the Food Pot or leave food inside with the lid on overnight, for more than 12 hours, or leave to spoil. If this occurs, please exercise extreme caution as this can result in a dangerous build-up of pressure inside the food pot.
If you'd like to place food in your Food Pot overnight (i.e. overnight oats), please store it in the fridge with the lid removed.
Contents spoilage [see note 1] can cause pressure inside the container to build, possibly leading to the forceful ejection of the lid or contents. If the contents are left in the pot longer than 12 hours, or you suspect spoilage, use caution when opening the container, ensure the opening is pointed away from the user or other persons to avoid injury.
DO NOT use tools or devices to force the pot to open, if you are unable to open the pot by hand, please contact customer services to discuss this here.
DO NOT use to store or carry carbonated drinks or dry ice. This may cause the lid and contents to eject forcefully or leak.
[Note 1] The rate at which contents spoil varies. Certain contents that include for example dairy and/ or tomato may start to spoil sooner. Proceed with caution when using the product with quick spoiling contents.
