How are Chilly's Series 2 Coffee Cups assembled and disassembled?

I can see the recommendation is to disassemble the lid for cleaning every couple of uses as per:

Our Series 2 Coffee Cups can be disassembled for cleaning purposes. We find that doing so after every few uses is enough. You should not be required to disassemble your cup after each use, however, you are more than welcome to do so.

However I have had to disassemble the coffee cup lid after each use as I always find milky coffee residue in-between the head and the lid.

It is cumbersome to disassemble it each time and the knife easily damages the lid as the gap typically isn't big enough for a blunt cutlery knife. You need to wriggle it in...

Overall a disappointing experience compared to other coffee cups I have owned.

    Hello.
All bottles and cups are in good use.
    I have a question.
How can I separate the lid and head of Series 2 to open and close the series more comfortably?
    I wonder.

this is a poor design with dirt building up in the lid after every use and the lid being quite difficult to disassemble and reassemble

I am finding it extremely difficult to be able to turn the series 2 coffee cup lid to open and close. The slanted edge with the practically useless grips is not easy to grip and turn.
Is this a faulty product or are they all much the same!

I have been purchasing Chilly products right from the beginning and have never found any reasons for complaint.

Been given a Chilly cup for Xmas and not impressed. Impossible to get the lid off without using a knife. Really don’t see the point of this extremely not user friendly cup. Very disappointed
    Instructions pretty useless too

All these findings are showing the same issue - and Chilly’s don’t even want to make a statemen to help on this issue!
