To clean your coffee filter, tip any coffee grounds into the food refuse bin and give it a wash with some hot soapy water.

You can also pop it into the dishwasher on the top shelf! Please be gentle and avoid pressing or scraping your coffee filter with hard objects as this could cause damage.

Avoid staining by washing or soaking your coffee filter immediately after use. If you’ve left it a little too long (it happens) and your filter does require a deeper clean, try soaking it overnight in a 1:2 mixture of white vinegar and water or scrub some bicarbonate soda(UK)/baking powder(US) into the mesh with a cleaning brush and rinse through.
